Wine Glasses ($55-63)

Each week on The Hang I drink wine out of these elegant hand-blown wine glasses by Zalto Denk’Art.

These glasses are extremely light weight and delicate, however they are still very sturdy. With that said, I recommend washing them in the dishwasher, NOT by hand. I personally only own 2 Bordeaux and 2 White Wine glasses as they are expensive. However, every time I drink wine from them, I enjoy the experience, so it’s worth it!

Bordeaux Glass $61 (for Cabernet Sauvignon) - Red Wine Glass as seen on The Hang!

Burgundy Glass $63 (for Pinot Noir)

White Wine Glass $57 (for Rosé and White Wines) - Set of 6 Glasses $315

Universal Wine Glass $55 (for all wines) - Set of 6 Universal Wine Glasses $310

Digestif Glass $55 (for Sweet Desert Wines and Ports)

Fiio.jpg

FiiO High Resolution Audio Player ($97 - $1,299)

If you want an elevated music listening experience (without the distraction of your phone with you), I recommend the FiiO. They currently have 8 different models to choose from starting at just $97 (M3 Pro) all the way up to their flagship at $1,299 (M15).

For those of you Audiophiles out there, this might be just for you! The FiiO supports pretty much ALL audio formats including Full Lossless formats. Some phones can’t even play WAV files, but this can play 192k/32-Bit WAV’s, FLAC, and much more!

Visit https://www.fiio.com/player for more info.

Mini Wine Decanter ($70)

Looking for a quality wine decanter that isn’t huge???

Well, look no further. I absolutely love this little guy. It’s perfect for decanting just a half a bottle for when you’re not going to drink the whole thing.

When do you need to decant you might ask? I use it for relatively ‘young’ wines to open them up and take the edge off quickly. You can also use a decanter for older wines that may have sediment at the bottom. For a more detailed explaination, check out this article on Wine Spectator.

Sony headphones.jpg

SONY Studio Headphones ($89)

These are the headphones I use on The Hang, and the most trusted industry headphones of all time. Priced at just $89, they are the workhorses in the studio.

Definitely ‘hyped’ on the sizzle, you can really hear all the detail and potential flaws in a recording or mix. I’ve been using these ever since I can remember. So, if you’re looking for a classic pair of cans to listen like the pros, these are for you.

Please note that these are old school, meaning there is no BlueTooth. You have to ‘plug them in’ which honestly sounds way better than wireless.

SONY MDR7506 Professional Headphones $89.99

P.S. If you are used to Beats headphones, these are the complete opposite. Beats are hyped on the low end, these are hyped on the high end.

Leonardo da Vinci by Walter Isaacson ($24)

I just finished reading this epic biography on the quintessential Renaissance man, da Vinci.

It’s a fascinating and very detailed account of his genius. Known for primarily the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper, his curiosities embraced all arts and sciences including anatomy, geology, mathematics, aerodynamics, dentistry, hydraulics, weaponry, architecture, optics, pageantry, and so much more. It was a very inspiring and eye opening read and highly recommended for anyone interested in the crossroads of arts and sciences mixed with history of the Italian Renaissance.

Water Isaacson also wrote Steve Jobs, Einstein, and Benjamin Franklin.

Coravin Wine Aerator (from $199)

Have you ever wanted to just have 1 glass of wine (or just a taste) out of a bottle? Well, this is the gadget for you. It allows you to ‘tap’ into the bottle while filling the inside with argon gas, thus not spoiling the wine. This way, you can just take a sip here and there over a few years instead of having to drink the entire bottle in 2-3 days.
